This privacy and cookie policy explains how WashTec Ireland collects and uses information through this website (washtecireland.ie). We've kept it as short and plain-language as we can.

If you have any questions about how we handle your data, contact us at info@wesumat.ie.

What information we collect

We collect two kinds of information:

1. Information you give us through the contact form. When you submit an enquiry, we collect your name, your company, your email address, your phone number (if you provide one), your site location (if you provide it), the type of enquiry you've selected, and the content of your message.

2. Technical information your browser provides. When you visit the site, our hosting provider records technical information needed to deliver the site securely — including your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and the time of your visit. This is standard for any website and is used only for security, troubleshooting and operating the site.

How we use your information

We use contact form data only to reply to your enquiry. We don't add you to a marketing list, and we don't share your information with third-party marketers.

We don't carry out any automated decision-making or profiling.

Legal basis for processing:

  • Form submissions — Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
  • Technical information — Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and operating it properly.

How long we keep your information

  • Form submissions — we keep enquiry emails for up to 24 months from the date of last contact, then delete them. If your enquiry leads to a sale or service relationship, we retain the relevant records for as long as needed to manage that relationship and meet our legal and accounting obligations.
  • Server logs — retained for up to 30 days by our hosting provider.

Who we share your information with

We don't sell your data, and we don't share it for marketing purposes.

We do use trusted service providers to operate the site and our business:

  • Webflow Inc. — our website host and form provider. Webflow processes data as a sub-processor on our behalf and may store data on servers located outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States.
  • Outlook — our email provider. Enquiries you send are received in our email system.

Where international transfers occur, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
